At present, the Meishan Port Area Terminal of Ningbo Zhoushan Port has taken the lead in applying this service platform to accurately locate container transport trucks, stackers, tower cranes, etc. At the same time, combined with the high-precision map of the terminal, it has achieved precise visual display and dynamic tracking of terminal operation equipment.
Terminals that directly receive satellite raw signals typically have a positioning accuracy of only 5 to 10 meters, and more precise service support is needed in professional surveying, disaster warning and rescue, unmanned driving and other application fields.
Lou Yanmin, former Director of the Basic Geographic Information and Technology Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geographic Information, introduced that this service platform has achieved "zero registration" application. Users do not need to submit multiple materials on site to wait for the acceptance and review of the management department. They only need to apply through the Zhejiang Government Service Network to enjoy the "one place registration, universal throughout the province" satellite navigation and positioning reference information public service in real time.
In 2018, Zhejiang Province completed the construction of a unified satellite navigation and positioning reference service system "one network, one center, and one platform" throughout the province, creating a high-precision, high-efficiency, and high coverage satellite navigation and positioning system.
Among them, "One Network" refers to the provincial satellite navigation reference station network composed of 86 ground stations, covering the entire province's land and sea areas, and all of which are compatible with China's Beidou satellite signals; The "One Center" is a provincial satellite navigation and positioning benchmark service center, achieving the transformation of resources from decentralization to centralization, and information from islands to sharing; The "One Platform" refers to the Zhejiang Provincial Satellite Navigation and Positioning Reference Service Platform, which can provide users with real-time sub meter level, even centimeter level, and post millimeter level positioning services for free.
It is estimated that the platform's free opening to society will save production costs by tens of millions of yuan annually.
